Health, Safety and Security Workshop for Israeli Partners
February 4th – 5th, 2020
International students often experience cultural, social, psychological and academic adjustment issues in a new environment and a new culture, away from family, friends and familiar surroundings. As a result, they may feel lost, lonely and pressured. HEI’s promoting international student programs need to be able to provide appropriate services.

The Association of UK Higher Education European Officers (HEURO) holds an annual workshop for newcomers to the sector, which usually takes place at a different UK university in late August.
Event Details
The Association of UK Higher Education European Officers (HEURO) holds an annual workshop for newcomers to the sector, which usually takes place at a different UK university in late August. The audience is mainly made up if new Erasmus+ practitioners at UK universities. This year due to COVID-19, the event was run virtually via zoom, with approximately 100 participants.
We presented on virtual mobility as a potential alternative to actual mobility based on the WILLIAM initiative.

Dr. Yael Israel-Cohen from COLMAN and Prof. Mooli Lahad from THC presented the WILLIAM COVID-19 initiative on providing guidance from trauma and crisis managementon dealing with the situation on a personal level and managing life in the highly unusual and unpredictable climate.
